We were up at 5:30 am because today they have a early morning breakfast at 7:00 am. I signed up to take a breakfast casserole and had to cook it before we went to the breakfast. We are always busy doing something and I don't know what days it is most the time. I can't believe tomorrow, Saturday we have been here for 2 weeks already. We work until 5:00 pm if your on a 11:30 shift and if you start at 9:00 am then your done at 2:00 pm. Then practices the songs at 5:10 pm each day. Run home to eat and go to watch the Rendezvous at 7:00 pm because we will be in it someday and we practice the songs with the cast as they do their parts. Home at 8:30 and then study for the next day of sites so we know what to teach when someone comes to that site. Sister Harris will be in the Log School House tomorrow. Elder Harris is at the Printing Shop.
Today, Friday Sister Harris was in the Family Living Center and I got to make bread in a bustle oven, really cool and bread is so good, everyone gets a piece of bread to taste. We had school groups come to see Nauvoo as a school field trip.
They love to come to the Family living center but they are not members of our church and we can't talk at all about our religion. We are to only show them some pioneer things you can learn to do, educational. We show how to make homemade candles, make rope, spinning wheel, to make thread from wool, to make rugs and make a barrel that hold liquid, and pottery. Elder Harris worked at the black smith site today. Well, it is late must leave, I will try to take some pictures to put in blog. Good Night!!!
Next time you should put the casserole in the crockpot before you go to bed! I'm sure you packed one in that monster vehicle you took! :)
