The End of the 3 years- Second Councilor in Monticello Temple

Wednesday- Oct. 31, 2018

This was an emotional day this day. It was our last day to serve in the presidency of the Monticello Temple and has been the best last 3 years of this part of our lives. I can't believe the couples and people we have met in the temple district.  It goes as far as Green River to Grand Junction and over to Durango and all those small towns between in Colorado, Cortez,  Moab, Monticello, Blanding and Bluff.    This last 2 months we have served on the 4 day schedule and has been wonderful to be with so many wonderful workers.  Out side the temple as we left we did a selfie of us leaving and I was sad this would be the last time we would be in the Monticello Utah Temple as in the Presidency. Jim will be the sealer on Tuesday nights and I will be an Ordinance worker starting in Dec. We love the temple and the peace we fill there. May we all feel His spirit in our homes that we feel in the temples.

Preston and MarDawn Palmer's foster child was adopted and was sealed to them that day.

Saturday--October 27, 2018

This day was not on a day that we worked at the temple but MarDawn was a class mate to Kimberly and this couple is in our 8th ward now.  I was talking with MarDawn one day and she told me what a special day that was to have her adopted son sealed to them and the wonderful feeling she felt there. The sealing was at 10:30 am.

Another couple special day-

Friday- 7 September 2018

This couple was married civilly and would be sealed in a few weeks at the Provo City Temple but they came to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive their Endowments.  The girl, Makynna Adams was raised in the Second Ward in Blanding, Utah and I knew her when she was a young women.  I was thrilled she came on my shift to receive her own Endowments.  Her husband Hayden Hurst Black I knew his parents very well and it was such a joy to see them all in the temple this day.  They would be on the session at 7:15 pm. I really enjoyed giving Makynna the Endowment Instructions and to feel the joy in her heart that this was really happening. They are both 26 years old and didn't have any children yet. When we are finished with this calling the own Endowments will be the thing I will miss the most and helping with the couple sealings and children being sealed to their parents. O! what a joy it is to see Families can be together forever!!!

A young man receiving his own Endowments

Tuesday- 4 September 2018
Matthew Thomas Decker came today to receive his own Endowments.  He would go on the 10:00 am session.  President Harris gave the Endowment Instruction to him and I think he was going on a mission but I'm not sure since we are not to ask if they are going on a mission. He had a nice accountinence and seemed quite.  It is wonderful to be with the young men and women when they are receiving their own Endowments.

Another Sister Endowment- 1 Sept. 2018

Saturday- 1 Sept 2018
Meysa Sierra Mulford came to the Monticello Utah Temple for her own Endowment at 1:00 PM.  She was a wonderful frightened young women.  She  really never put on that she was frightened but someone told me later on how scared she was.  When I talk to them I try to help them relax and feel the spirit that is in the Temple.  I hope and pray that she will come back often and feel the love that the savior has for her.  I love being in the temple and is a wonderful blessing to serve there.

A special moment with our Grandson Derek

Saturday--  25 August 2018

On this day our Grandson Derek Joseph Bonney came to Monticello Utah Temple to receive his own Endowment.   He and his parents, Ken and  Tami Bonney drove to Blanding Friday about 5:00 pm, President James and Beverly Harris were serving am and pm shifts that day.  We stayed up that night late to visit with them since we didn't get home until 10:30 pm.   On Saturday morning about 10:30 we drove to the Monticello Utah Temple to do our pm shift and then Derek and his parents would be there around 12:30 pm to visit with and Ordinence Worker who has spent 12 years in the area where Derek will spend his mission in Mozambiqua, Africa and he will speak Porsche on his mission.  He has his Grandpa's middle name Joseph and wanted to be here with his Grandparents. Jim is in the Monticello Utah Temple Presidency and so he got to give a special talk to Derek about the temple.  We got Lloyd and Lois Bayles to cover our position at the temple because they were shift coordinators and we went on the endowment at 3:15 session with him.  It was so special for me to sit with our daughter Tami in the session.  Jim sat by JB and Derek was on the front row with his father, the escort.    We really appreciated Derek coming to the temple so we could be with him otherwise we wouldn't been able to be with him.  He is so prepared to go in the mission field and we are so proud of him.  The people in Mozambiqua are very black, is what the Ordinence couple said and Derek is fair and blond and about 6 feet -2 inches tall.  Derek said it helped him so much to talk to the couple that answered his questions and is so excited to go, he doesn't go until October 14, 2018.  The wife really stressed to being obedient to the mission rules.  Well it was a special day for us as Grandparents to be with Derek and his parents.  I love the feeling you feel as you are in the temple and how close you feel to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ it was a perfect day and then the family left to travel to Orem right after and we stayed while the Delta Ward and Bishop Chris Johnson cleaned the temple.  It was great to see Chris Johnson because he was a really good friend to Jed, our son in high school.  He also talked Jed to be coming a dentist so now Jed is a dentist in Wisconson and Chris is a dentist in Delta, Colorado.

Another Sister going on a mission- 18 Aug. 2018

Saturday- 18 August 2018

Rylee Paige Martin came to the Monticello Utah Temple for her own Endowment at 1:00 pm on this day and she was the sweetest and friendly young sister that I have had in a while.  She just glowed with the spirit of the Lord and was truly so excited to be in the temple.  She is from Fruita 1st Ward, Grand Junction West Stake.  I didn't get to do her garment instruction,  Sister Livingston did it because I was doing our training meeting to our Ordinence Workers at 12:00 pm. She would be going on the 1:00 pm session and I would help her from that time on.  She was so excited to serve her mission in California and her mother with her was also excited to be with her first child which would be serving a mission.  It is so neat to be with those missionaries when they come for their own endowment.  When we are released in 2 months this is what I'm going to miss this special time with the sisters.  I  love serving in  the Monticello Utah Temple and I want all to know that reads my blog that I love the Lord and how often He helps me with tender moments.  I know that my Heavenly Father lives and that Jesus Christ is my Savior and has died for me.  I am humbly that he hears and answers my prayers.  I have shared my experience what happened to me on Wed. driving to the Monticello Utah Temple for Presidency Meeting at 12:30 pm.

Another missionary was also at the temple receiving his own Endowment for his mission at the 1:00 pm session.   His name was Zurel Michael Matteson, and he was a good friend to the Grandson of President and Sister Yarbrough in Cortez, Colorado. Their Grandson had just received his own Endowment a few weeks ago and he was his best friends escort so the Bishop who was President and Sister Yarbrough's son was also their to help in the session because it was blind leading the blind.  It looked like they all had a special experience in the session that Saturday afternoon I know I did being with all the own endowments.

Special Tender Moment- 15 Aug. 2018

Wednesday- 15 August 2018

I was driving by myself because Jim went to the Monticello Utah Temple Presidency Meeting from the farm at Dodge.  As I was driving to Monticello I was at the top of Devils Canyon and the light came on and said "Low Gas Level", Oh why don't I remember to look at my gas when I leave home I thought. I thought I'm don't going to make it to Monticello because I'm out of gas so I started to praying " please help me Father to get to Monticello and not run out of gas".  Just shortly after I prayed out loud the gas register went half way up between the fourth of a tank and empty.  The message that said I was out of gas was all gone in the front and on the radio spot.  So I drove all the way to Monticello not wearing if I would make it or not but when I got to the block I turn on that takes me to the school which is close to the temple the gas register dropped to empty and I knew the Lord had helped me once again with His tender mercies.  I thank my Heavenly Father for helping me to arrive to my Presidency Meeting safe and I was able to get gas after my meeting and everything was OK!!!  I shared this experience with the Ordinence Workers in my meeting because I wanted them to know the Lord does help us when we humbly ask Him.  We all had a good cry with the spirit close to us all.  It is so wonderful to have spirit to spirit in the temple.

8th ward member receiving her Endowment-yippy

Saturday-- 28 July 2018- 3:15 PM

Cassidy Johnson came today to receive her own Endowment and she is in our 8th ward that we are in now.  I was surprised because I didn't know that she hadn't been to the temple yet.   She was so trilled to see me and said she relaxed because she knew me.  Her mother was there and all her sisters which was fun for me because I knew them all.   Cassidy's husband didn't want to receive his Endowments yet but I hope he will later.  He is coming to church better and she just glows.  She is a great example for her family and will help her husband so they can be sealed someday.  I was so happy that she was on my shift and that I had the great opportunity to talk to her about the temple garments. These special moments just keep coming I am so blessed....

Central YSA 3rd Ward, Salt Lake Bonneville YSA Stake-Tomey Ry Fox

Friday night- 27 July 2018- 12:15 session

Tomey Ry Fox drove down from Salt Lake City to receive her own Endowment this day.  She was Born and raised in Blanding, Utah and I was pleased that she came back to our temple.  She was such a delight to be around and her mother also was so happy.  She was so prepared to receive her own Endowment in the Monticello Utah Temple.  She didn't act nervous at all and brought the spirit with her.  I love to be with those who come to the temple for the first time.  Happy Days are here again!!!

Carol Richmond's son (chase) Temple Sealing

Friday- 20 July 2018

Chase Tyrell Richmond and Mikaila Jean Palmer were sealed in the Monticello Utah Temple today.  Mikaila had received her own Endowments Thursday Night, 19 July 2018.  She is a darling happy young woman and a joy to be around.  It was so fun to take her to the Brides Room for her to hang her wedding dress up and to get ready in her temple dress to be married.  Her mother(Stormy) was with her and Mikaila seemed so clam which brides are usually nervous at their wedding.  Chase is from my old 2nd ward and I have watched him grow up and he is a very chose young man.  Their wedding reception was this same night in the Palmer's yard.  I was surprised how nice it was and so impressed how he has his sprinkler system set up so cool.  I told Jim we need to do something like that so we aren't so busy watering every thing by hand everyday.  It takes us about 2 hours to do our watering.  They are a darling couple and so happy it was on our shift, Friday- July 20th, 2018. Stormy was so nice to tell me how much they enjoyed me at the temple.  I know the Lord helps me all the time to help the young woman feel comfortable in the temple.  This is such a blessing in my life to serve in the Monticello Utah Temple.  Jed Lyman was the sealer and he always does a beautiful job with a very strong spirit with him.  They had most the men standing behind their wives and was so full that President Harris and I didn't go in to the sealing.

This same day Oren Harrison Yant received his own Endowments at 12:15 session and President Harris helped him with the talk about the temple.

Another young man going on a Mission

Saturday- 30 June 2018

This is the last day the Temple will be opened for 2 weeks.  The Monticello Utah Temple will be closed for cleaning.   Easton Troy Bowring, (Relva and Bob Bowring's Grandson) came to the temple to receive his own Endowments.    He will be on the 10:15 am session and so President Harris gave him his Endowment Instruction.  It is wonderful to see these young men prepared and excited to serve the Lord.   Happy Days are always at the Temple!!!

Saturday, June 23, 2018

Our neighbor Denise Johnson's son's Endowment

Saturday- 23 June 2018

In our old home in Blanding our neighbor Denise Johnson's son, Tanner Eric Johnson came to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive his own Endowments he would be on the 10:15  am session. He had a lot of family at the temple to support him.  President Harris gave him his Endowment Instructions and he was so pleased to do this for this young man.  It is so wonderful to see so many men and women going on Missions.

Another couple receiving their own Endowments

Saturday- 16 June 2018

This was a full day we had another couple coming to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive their own Endowments.  Franklin Scott Sandefer and his wife Christen Hawkins were going on the 1:00 pm session so President Harris and I got the opportunity to give them their Endowment Instructions.
They will be sealed after the session and have a child-to-parent sealing.  It is wonderful to have so many families come to the temple to be sealed.  Blessings, blessings, and more blessings we receive serving in the temple.  I'm going to be so sad when we are released the end of October.

Sister being sealed to her parents- Beverly Sue Harris

Saturday- 16 June 2018

This was a fun day when I met a mother named Beverly Sue Harris and her daughter cynthia Sue Caswell age 56 is to be sealed to her parents.  Her father is deceased but her mother Beverly Sue Harris was there and it was fun to meet my twin in name.  The sealing was at 8:00 am in the morning and a special day for their family.

our neighbor Jaden Torgerson receives his Endowments

Saturday 16 June 2018

We were so excited when we saw that our neighbor Jaden Torgerson came to the Monticello Utah Temple on our shift.  President James Joseph Harris had the great opportunity to give him his own Endowment Instructions.  His father was his escort and was a joy to have them and their families be there to support Jaden.  He was on the 10:15  am session and he had many Blanding families come.
He will be leaving in the first week of August so he leaves in a few weeks.   His farewell will be at the end of July.  It is always special when these young men come in to receive their Endowments in our temple.  We love serving in the Monticello Utah Temple.

19 year old women receives her own Endowment

Tuesday- 12 June 2018

Atlanta Black is 19 years old and came to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive her own Endowments.   She is from Monticello, Utah and the church has asked us not to ask if they are getting married or going on a mission so I don't know if she is just receiving her Endowments because she wants too.  But we were thrilled she came to the Monticello Utah Temple and loved having her and for me to have the opportunity to give her the Endowment Instructions is truly an honor.  She was so excited and had a special spirit about her.  She didn't have a lot of people with her only about 8 but what a joy it was for me to be their with her and her family and friends.

Jim's niece's sealing- Jessie Ivins

Saturday- 9 June 2018

This was a full day with many people in the temple for so many special occasions this day.  The sealing for Trason Shawn Jack and Jessie Ivins.  President Donald Vernon Jack, Trason's Grandfather did the sealing and it was a full house, all the men stood behind the chairs with their wives in front on the chairs.  Their were probably 70 people in that room and the spirit was there also.  It was so full that President Jim and I didn't go in, no room in the inn.  But we were happy we were their to congratulate the couple and their families.  Jessie Ivins and Dylan her brother  received their own Endowments on Thursday night, 7 June 2018 which wasn't our shift but we were happy they were sealed on own shift.
Dylan is leaving next week on his mission so it was so nice the brother and sister did their own Endowments together.  Dylan could also be to his sister's sealing and then on Sunday 10 of June he gave his farewell talk in the 1st ward.  We went to it also and it was wonderful.  We also went to Jessie's wedding reception in the back yard of her mom and dad's place, Stephanie and Justin on Friday night before they were sealed.  It was a beautiful night since the wind quite and the yard was heavenly.  A very full days for this family!!!!!

Sealing-9 June 2018 and own Endowments

Saturday- 9 June 2018

This neat couple - Kathy Michelle Sullivan and Brent Donald Woodland came today to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive their own Endowments and then to be sealed together and have 4 of their children sealed to them.   The session they would go on was at 10:15 am.  They also had a daughter named, Amber Rachelle Woodland which was 21 years old receiving her own Endowment with her mother.  I gave Kathy and her daughter Amber their own Endowments Instructions and what a happy day for both women.   This day Kathy has been waiting for along time to get her husband ready to be sealed to her.  She and her husband and daughter are from Montrose, Colorado and many friends have helped them prepare for this special day.    She just glowed with excitement and her daughter also brought the spirit with them to the temple.  The older brother was married last year and had served on a mission and he was his father's escort.   They must have had the whole ward come to support them because it was a big session.

The sealing after was really neat.   President Johnson sealed the couple then the oldest boy knelt at the altar and the sister Amber knelt across from him then they had two younger brothers come in and knelt across from each other and were sealed as a family.   It is such a joy to see these special moments that happen in my life.  O, I thank my Heavenly Father for these special occasions that happen in the Temple.

A special time with Jim's Nephew Jens

Saturday- 9 June 2018

Jim's Nephew Jens Shumway Jones came to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive his own Endowments on the 1:00 pm session  President Jim Harris had the opportunity to give Jens his Endowment Instructions.   You could see he was a little nervous which happens to the best men and women that come to the temple for the first time.  We try to relax them and hope they feel the Lords presence while they are there.  It was awesome for me to meet Jens there and to see his brother Ashton as his escort.  There is when Ashton told us that he is getting married in a month.  That was a surprise for me but I never see these boys much and I don't know how long it has been since Ashton has returned home from his mission.  These two boys when they were younger we took up North to see their dad Scot Jones about ever other week end.  Scot has a decease that damages his kidneys and is on dialysis so he can't travel much.   They would go with us when we traveled up North to see our Grandchildren and families.  It was really neat to become better friends with them.  It was really special to see them both in the temple.

Friday- 1 June 2018

This is a very big day at Monticello Utah Temple with the West Grand Junction Temple Day.  President James Joseph & I didn't have  to be their until 11:30 am and stay until 3:30 pm.  This was our day off but all the Presidency needs to help this day. We had about 6 baptism this day and many Initiatory's  and endowment session's and sealing's going on.  We were tired when we got home but had a wonderful spiritual day at the temple.   I am so thankful for these blessing we receive!!!

Tuesday- 22 May 2018

Deborah Freestone, Dr. Glen Freestone's sister came to the Monticello Utah Temple for her own Endowment.  She had never been married and was an older women but I remember she had the cutest dipples and I really enjoyed giving her the own Endowment  Instructions.    She lived in Orem but came to Monticello Temple I think because her family and friends could be there with her. It is such a blessing to serve the Lord by helping him in the temple. The spirit is the greatest in the temples.

Special Grandchild sealed to Grandparents

Saturday- 12 May 2018

This was a special Saturday because one of Spencer's good friends was having his Grandson sealed to him this day.   Alan Taylor Black and Luanna Laurel Hjorth Black had adopted their Grandson, Tason Kale Black, he was 5 years old when he was sealed to his Grandparens.   Taylor's children that were older now where there in the Monticello Utah Temple to watch this special occasion.  of course the daughter that had this son was not there but the other brother and sisters were there.  It was beautiful to see the friends and family there in the temple.      What a joy to see families growing in the gospel.

Saturday- 5 May 2018

Jeffrey Easton Lee came to the Monticello Utah Temple this day to receive his own Endowment at 10:15 session.  President Jim Harris gave in own Endowment instructions.  His father that was his escort Jim was involved with when he was the Principal of the San Juan High School.  He was excited that Jim was there to help his son with his first time in the temple.  The experiences we have in the temple is amazing. Love it!!!!!

Special Sealing today- 17 April 2018

Tuesday- 17 April 2018

Vera Jean Gilbreath came to the Monticello Temple today to be sealed to her parents.   She is 75 years old and her sister and her husband came to be the proxy for the parents in this sealing.  Her sister(which I don't know her name) and her husband's recommends were expired.  So my husband, 2nd councilor in the Temple Presidency went and called the Temple President, President Livingston and ask him what he should do.  He told my husband to let them go in and watch but couldn't do any ordinances.  So I was asked to be proxy for her mother.  I was thrilled and when I told her that her sister could come in and watch the sealing she just cried and cried so I cried with her and told her I would be her mother.  It was a beautiful sealing and she and I cried and the spirit of her parents were there.   She wanted the sealing this day because it was her Dad's Birthday today, he would be 109 years old.  Vera Jean Gilbreath was sealed to her father, Douglas Lane Gilbreath (Deceased) and her mother Opal Ellen Close (Deceased).  Then her sister said we will sit outside and wait for you while you go sit in the Celestral Room for awhile.  I went with her and she cried and cried and I know she felt her parents by her side.  What a wonderful day at the Temple I thank my Heavenly Father for these special moments in the Temple. Vera Jean was the last child to be sealed to her parents, now all the children are sealed to the parents, the other sister was sealed last year.

She was from Aztec, New Mexico and was 67 years old and it was a joy to see how excited she was.  She glowed from ear to ear and it was neat to give her the instructions about wearing her garments.  People that are older are like sponges they just absorb everything you tell them.  She was a little nervous but was so excited to be in the Temple.  I was amazed how many people came to support her, it was heavenly.  After Beveraly Kay and her husband, Harold Francis Pepin's Endowments they were sealed in the Monticello Temple.  It was special to see so many people that came to their Endowments and Sealing.  So many special days these days!!

A sad day- Funeral for Doris Black Pehrson

Tuesday- 10 April 2018

Doris Black Pehrson died April 4, 2018 from Cancer.   She probably only lived a month or so because she didn't want to do anything about it.  She didn't want anyone to come and see her and so Sister Livingston sent her flowers from the Monticello Temple Prisidency which was very thoughtful for her.   Doris was Sister Livingston's visiting teacher and Sister Livingston wanted to go see her many times but she did Doris's wishes.  That couple are so in turn with the Lord and them that they even look alike in their picture.   President Clarence Pehrson had served in the Monticello Temple Presidency for 3 years a few years back.  He was a Sealer on Tuesdays and everyone loved him so much.   President Harris and I were working the Temple that morning so we knew we would miss the funeral but here came President and sister Yarbrough running into the temple and said you go get changed and you can make it to the grave side.  They are so thoughtful all the time so we went to the grave side and it was beautiful.  They had Brother Reid Chapman sing a solo, "In the Garden" boy! he has a beautiful voice.  President Tom Livingston dedicated the grave (home teacher and friend).
I'm sure the funeral was wonderful.  After we went up to President Clarence Pehrson and he was so happy to see us there and we felt his special spirit and comforted us.  When his wife found out she had a fast growing cancer he asked to be released as a sealer because he needed to be by his wife all  the time.  I hope later on he will come back to his friends at the temple.  Truly they are a perfect couple.  We love them so much and will miss them both!!!

We are getting so many Own Endowments

Thursday- 29 March 2018- 7:15 PM

Dena Mae Gilpin came today to receive her own Endowment and was so excited.  She is 47 years old and was a delight to give her the Endowment Instructions.  She is from Cortez 3rd Ward in  Colorado but is in the Durango Stake.  She had a large session with many of her Cortez Ward members coming to support her.   President and Sister Yarbrough were in her ward and stayed after their shift to attend her session.  She did her own Endowment on the Cortez 3rd Ward Temple Night so many people came.  She lives in Mancos, Colorado but attends her church meetings in Cortez, Co.  She was so ready and a delight to be with in the Monticello Temple.  Sister Cook was her escort a good friend  and an aunt also was an escort.  Dr. Cook who was raised in Blanding lives in Cortez, Colorado and he baptized her.  His wife Sister Cook keep talking to her all the time.  Dena was so well prepared and excited but I just wished people would realize that the patron needs quit time to feel the spirit that can teach them the truths in the temples.  Great Day!!!

J.B.'s Birthday and sad news

Tuesday- March 27, 2018

Today is JB's 36th Birthday and he has always been a joy in our family. Thank Heaven's for children.

Also my heart is breaking today- Tuesday March 27,2018 Krista Grover died today.  She was only 20 years old and it  was a total surprise to her parents and the town people.  She was healthy and vibrant young lady.  Her family didn't know she had this bleeding disease that is hereditary - her father has it.
She was up North living with her Grandparents and going to vitinarion school.  She was riding a horse when she had a brain  bleed and died then fell of her horse, that is what they think happened.  A neighbor call her Grandparents and said someone is lying on the ground in the back so it was her Grandfather that found her died.  It was a shock to everyone.  Her funeral will be Monday April 2, 2018 at 12:00 noon.  On December 16, 2017 she came to the Monticello Temple to receive her own Endowment.  She wasn't getting married or going on a mission but just wanted to do it.  I was the one that helped her with her own Endowment.  The Lord must have something very special for her on the other side.  She was the sweetest and kindest and and was so prepared to receive her Endowments. You could tell that she was very close to her Father in Heaven just by looking in her eyes, she glowed.  It was truly a pleasure to be with her that day and to get to know her that day,  Her mother was her escort and was trilled to be with her youngest daughter. What a special daughter of God.  I heard that her parents and her had just got back from a church historical trip.  She truly was ready to meet God. I feel that her Grandmother Grover that has past away years ago met her on the other side.   I pray that her parents and family will feel Gods love and have a special experience with their daughter.

A young mans own Endowments

Friday- 9 February 2018

This young man, Tyson Decker Ross came to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive his own Endowments and will be on the 10:00 am session. President Harris gave him his Endowment Instructions.  I am always so pleased to see these young missionaries at the temple and sometimes if they have along wait they can serve as Ordinance workers until they leave on their mission. It is amazing how fast they learn the ordinances.  Great experiences for them.

Own Endowment- January 13-2018

Saturday-- January 13, 2018

Shelbi Faye Black who was a blond beautiful girl came to the Monticello Utah Temple to receive her own Endowments.  She would be going through the 1:00 pm session.  She is in our old ward which was the 2nd Ward.    Because President Harris and I were doing our training and prayer meeting Sister Livingston did her instructions on wearing the garment.  The morning Initiatory sisters did her Initiatory while we were in prayer meeting after I went and spent some time with her and her mom.  I took them to the Endowment Session and they had a lot of friends and family waiting for the session to start.  She was such a sweet girl and a joy to be around.  I love trying to help the young women to relax when their in the temple because everything is new to them and they are nervous.
A young man was also receiving his own Endowment named- Jake Ryan Colyer at the same time-1:00 pm.

Thanks Father in Heaven for these tender mercies.  This Saturday afternoon was the last sessions before the temple closes for cleaning.  The temple will be closed for two weeks. Ya !! vacation time.....

Passing of our Prophet- 2018

Jan. 2, 2018
President Thomas Spencer Monson passed away and went to Heaven and is with  Jesus Christ, God our Father and his Families and the other apostles old and new.   He was 90 years old and I dearly loved this man. What a reunion he would have had with so many people that loved him so. He was an amazing leader in the church of Jesus Christ and our new Prophet will be amazing also, President Russel M. Nelson.  I had the great oppretunity to work with Dr. Russel M. Nelson at the L.D.S. Hospital when he was a heart surgen many years ago when I was single.  I was the X-ray Tech. that did the portable x-rays on his patients. He was the best heart surgen at that time.  He was truly guided by the Lord in  his work.  Now he will be our leader in the church of Jesus Christ.
