We had to get up really early today to drive to Nauvoo for a Training Meeting by 7:30 am. We had an Elder Robert Gay here. He spoke to us on a Fireside Sunday night and stayed here to see the different sites on Monday. Then in the evening he came to our Rendezvous, boy was I glad I didn't know he was watching us but we didn't do Noah and Sophia this night anyway. He is of the First Quorum of the Seventy. He gave us some really good spiritual helps to help us be better missionaries. What a powerful and spiritual man of God he is. It was wonderful and we all are fired up to share the Gospel with everyone. I love serving here at the Carthage Visitor Center and Jail. The spirit is so strong when you are up in the Martyrdom Room and to bear your Testimony so many times in a day but lately we haven't had as many people coming because it is during a slow time of the year. It is still wonderful to live here in Carthage, Illinois. We love it here.
