This was Easter Sunday and we went to our 8:00 am Sacrament Meeting and the Choir sang three Easter songs about Christ. Here are the names of the songs, "Jesus Once of Humble Birth", "I Stand All Amazed", "This is the Christ" it was awesome to be in the choir. After Sunday School lesson Elder Harris conducted the Priesthood Meeting and Sister Harris Conducted Relief Society Meeting. We had some great meetings and in the afternoon we ran around and fixed the site books that are in the different Sites that we are in charge off.
It is always a joy to talk with our children on the phone or to Skype with them on Sunday Evenings.
We miss not talking with them through the week so when we don't have Sunday night meetings we want to hear from our children. I am so happy that Easter Sunday is the time we think of Jesus Christ when he was Resurrected and the love he has for us enough that he was willing to die so that we could live with our love once again and with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I feel so blessed to be on the earth at this time when the Gospel has been restored and the Book of Mormon was translated from ancient records by Joseph Smith and though the Holy Ghost. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that we have a Prophet today that directs the church today, President Thomas S. Monson.
