Christmas for the Children

Sunday- Dec. 15, 2013
In the evening we are doing the Nativity for all the Missionaries.   It turned out really nice even when we didn't have the backdrop.  We had Site Missionaries and Temple Missionaries watching.  The Missionaries were so busy helping with "The Christmas Walk" on Dec. 6, that they didn't have time to watch the Live Nativity.  We all wore our costumes and the angels sang all 6 songs as the Nativity was performed.
I had decided to make these cute pioneer dolls that you can put your bags in the skirt for each one of our children's family.  I started before December.  Here are some pictures of them.

Here are the dolls up close.  They turned out to be so fun to do.

  1. Looks like you are keeping really busy. I've enjoyed your blog. Last Sunday evening the Kyles family and I went to the home of Norman and Margie Nielson, to see their pictures of their trip. There you were!!! My grandchildren, Cory and Crystal Raisor are moving to Nauvoo this year. He'll probably go before the rest of them to find a house to live in and to confirm his job.
